The Secret RF Microneedling Treatment
Unlike other procedures that take an hour or longer, the Secret RF Microneedling procedure only takes 20 minutes. And since there is no downtime, you can return to your normal day-to-day schedule the moment your treatment is completed.
Preparation
Before the procedure begins, one of our team members will apply a topical numbing cream to your skin to minimize discomfort. We’ll also give you specific directions leading up to your treatment day, such as avoiding excessive sun exposure, skincare products and certain medications for at least 24 hours before treatment.
Procedure
During the procedure, you’ll likely feel warmth, tingling and pressure as the needles enter your skin, but this is normal and the numbing cream prevents any pain. In fact, some people describe the heat from the procedure as therapeutic. You can sit back and relax while we rejuvenate your skin.
Recovery
When treatment comes to an end, we’ll give you a set of aftercare instructions to ensure the healing process runs smoothly. This generally involves avoiding sun exposure, makeup, harsh chemicals, swimming and picking at your face. While your skin might appear flushed or swollen for a few days, these side effects are minimal and will gradually improve as your skin heals.
Results
Results will vary from one patient to the next, but most people start to notice an improvement by the end of the first week. Your skin will gradually improve over the next few months as collagen and elastin levels are restored. For best results, we recommend undergoing three to four treatments spaced four to six weeks apart, and then returning every 12-18 months to maintain your results long-term.
